After two blockbuster movies in two years courtesy of Messrs Michael Bay & Co, the world now knows of the Transformers, the story of the epic battle between the good Autobots and the evil Decepticons. Of course, those among us humans who have followed the TV cartoon series and toys since the early eighties would’ve noticed the dramatic re-envisioning of these robots-in-disguise…and what a change it was! We here at Qoravant have always had a soft-spot for good-ol’ Optimus Prime, the Autobots’ distinguished leader, though to be honest, we’re not a big fan of his latest reincarnation on the big screen. So with that in mind, we photographed our beloved 20th-anniversary Optimus fully-poseable figure (by Hasbro, of course!), ran him through the machine, and presto! Optimus Prime version 1984 updated for 2009… Qoravant style!
