Fresh from the Intel contest, we decided to sink our teeth into another competition (we just love our art contests!) and this time it’s organised by the game site Destructoid. The loot is the Overgrowth/Natural Selection 2 pre-order pack, which is a special double offering of games developed by indie developers, Wolfire Games and Unknown Worlds. The theme of the contest was simple, draw (or photoshop) rabbits carrying out acts of violence on aliens. What? How could anyone possibly do such a thing? Now, we couldn’t bring ourselves to draw cute cuddly creatures ‘Aliens vs. Predator’-style, but we could imagine them doing a great ‘Rambo’ impersonation. So we had them redrawn as commando rabbits, complete with camo suit, headbands, bullets and all. We liked our finished product, and apparently so did the judge! Which means of course, good news for us. We get ourselves a couple of high quality games for free! And ain’t that just the best thing?
