When your leader, that heroic, champion of a man who single-handedly altered the way things were done and who inspired you and your co-workers to greater heights, decides to move on to greener pastures, you know it’s going to be a sad day. This was especially so for the company that approached us to do a caricature of their departing Vice-President. Inserted in the centre of a faux-leather-bound scrapbook full of photos, best wishes and other congratulatory anecdotes, the caricature could’ve conveyed a sense of solemn nostalgia. Instead, we opted to do a snapshot of the leader enjoying a happy moment. Farewells don’t always have to be sad, right?

Farewell, O Glorious Leader
Thursday, May 27th, 2010Something for the Boss
Friday, August 21st, 2009Every year, there comes a time when you get someone a present for their birthday. Your mom, your dad, your girlfriend, even your pet fish. But what do you get for your boss? Well, a group of cheerful employees recently wanted to get an original gift for their leader as a show of respect and support, and so, they commissioned us to do a caricature of their entire team! You know us by now, we’re always happy to draw happy faces and smiles. We hear the Boss likes this one. Does that mean a pay raise for the team? We sure hope so!
