Well, it’s been a couple of months since our last post, but rest assured, we have not been resting on our laurels! Only just recently, we (or to be more precise, our main man Nizar Musa) concluded our participation in Short and Sweet Malaysia 2009, a month-long festival of dance and theatre held at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre. It was our first foray into the world of theatre, and what a grand experience it was! Obviously writing for stage performance is a bit different from writing an article or a book, and ultimately brings with it its own rewards as characters and settings put down to paper are gloriously brought to life! We’re big about sharing our stories, and there’s no better place to do that than on the stage. Next mission: Cinema, of course!

Monday, August 17th, 2009A Gift for Tun
Thursday, June 18th, 2009Just last week, an old friend called up to to see if we could come up with an artwork gift for an event. It turns out the gift was for none other than Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, the illustrious former Prime Minister of Malaysia! Putting on our thinking cap, we decided to go for a simple yet elegant piece that symbolised his era of nation-building, through the depiction of the country’s most renowned icons built between 1981 and 2003. We quite like this one, and we hope he likes it too!
