Everyone needs to drink water. Period. Whether you’re at home, at work or at the gym, nothing beats a refreshing gulp of that good ol’ H20 (we like it chilled). And what if you’re on the go? Easy! Just grab a bottled one from your nearest all-day outlet, in your choice of tap, mineral, distilled, reverse osmosis or oxygenated flavours. Problem is though, that plastic bottle you’re holding isn’t bio-degradable, and when there’s billions of them being tossed away, you know that ain’t good for mother earth. So what do you do about it? Well, Sigg, the renowned aluminium water bottle maker, holds an annual contest every year, encouraging entrants to illustrate through graphic design, awareness of plastic bottles and how we should avoid using them. Our entry for 2009 depicts our dependency on water, and its relation to all life on this planet, and how we’re all connected through this precious commodity that we so often take for granted.
Let’s do our bit and start using our own water bottles (we hear aluminium and stainless steel ones are better for you). You don’t need a Sigg to do that.
